The Sunair CO-2165CA is a new, Sanden-style 7H15 air conditioning compressor engineered for 24-volt heavy-duty HVAC systems using R134a. It arrives factory-filled with PAG 46 refrigerant oil and features an integrated clutch assembly to accelerate installation. A serpentine PV8, 8-groove pulley with 119 mm (4.69 in) outside diameter provides reliable belt engagement under demanding accessory loads. Designed with ear-type mounting and dual pin terminals, the unit integrates cleanly with existing brackets and wiring harnesses. The compressor is manufactured in Malaysia and backed by a 12-month warranty.

Installation and application

Built for straightforward replacement in Sanden-style 7H15 installations, the CO-2165CA’s ear-mount body and known fit dimensions, including a 46.55 mm distance from clutch to mounting flange, support accurate alignment with existing drive systems. Its 24 V coil with two pin terminals enables secure, serviceable electrical connections typical of heavy-duty vehicle platforms. Using R134a refrigerant and PAG 46 oil aligns the compressor with common fleet service practices, helping minimize parts variability and downtime. The combination of pre-filled oil, integrated clutch, and PV8 serpentine pulley reduces setup steps, so technicians can restore cabin or operator-cab cooling quickly and consistently.
