The Grote 64J71-5 is a 4 x 6 inch LED high beam headlamp designed for heavy-duty applications, delivering 1100 lumens at a daylight-like 5500–6500 K to enhance long-range visibility while helping reduce eye fatigue. Its heated lens activates automatically to melt snow and ice within minutes, preserving beam clarity in winter conditions. The lamp supports 12–30 VDC systems with a 3.8 A draw at 12 V, and consumes 45.6 W when the heating element is active. Rated for extremes from -40 °C to +85 °C, it provides reliable output across diverse climates and duty cycles.

An IP67 sealing level and a robust die-cast aluminum housing protect the electronics from moisture, dust, and vibration for dependable service life. The clear, hardcoated, UV-resistant lens resists abrasion and yellowing to maintain optical performance. Installation is straightforward: the unit fits standard 4 x 6 inch rectangular housings and connects via a 3-pin H4 plug for quick replacement. Compliant with FMVSS 108 and SAE HL 19, it is legal for on-road use in 4 x 6 systems and aligns to VMRS 034-001-151 for fleet maintenance tracking.
